Nowadays project management has been grown.Light water power reactor is one of the most important reactors in the world. Power and life are the two most important parameters for such reactors. The operation mode of 18 months long cycle and low leak is adopted in the GNPJVC. In order to develop high performance fuel assembly for domestic nuclear power plant, it is necessary to master some transfer of the AFA 3G fabrication technology. With the project management experts designated by Framatome company, we facilitate the technology import under the guidance of strict program. The focus is the technology about fabrication difficulties in the AFA 3G technology, to insure the successful transfer from AFA 2G. This localization project developed by YFP is the focus of this paper. The main tasks are as follows: 1,The paper expatiate the project background and significance of topics, gives a brief instruction on AFA3G project ,as well as the technical method. 2,The paper introduces relative theory and some current method of project schedule planning, and have a detailed instruction on the schedule planning of AFA3G project by WBS, responsibility matrix, the progress of the plan, Gantt chart, tracking Gantt chart ,and such tools. 3,Giving relative theory on schedule control, and the analysis of the impact on schedule of this project. Having dynamic monitor on the schedule of AFA3G project. 4,The paper analyses the characteristics and difficulties of this project, and points out the progress related solutions to the problem.
