In the past 15 years,China manufacturing machinery industry developed rapidly,especially the Wheel Loader has accelerated a huge population in the market.In recent years,various manufacturers expanding production capacity,but domestic demand is lower and obviously the supply exceeds the demand,which makes the manufacturers target at overseas markets.Today almost every manufacturer has a number of wheel loader products selling in overseas markets through marketing programs.A complete wheel loader international marketing program covers five marketing factors:Product,Price,Promotion,Place and People.The program execution includes task decomposition,project plan,schedule plan&control etc..,the process is very complex.Considering machinery products always have the peak season,there are strict requirements on marketing activities timeline,which makes the project schedule control more important.In addition,there are different needs from more than 100+markets,and complicated coordination among different teams within the company,which increased the project schedule management difficulty.Basing on the previous research,this article studied C company 656D wheel loader marketing program in the international market.Utilizing the basic theory and method of project schedule management and control methodology,applying and combining the idea and methodology into the marketing program,which including WBS methodology,network planning technique and CPM etc.The Microsoft Project software,Gantt chart and network planning tool were used to optimize the project timeline.For program schedule control,the article describes and applies the schedule control process,dynamic monitoring and guarantee measures etc.methodologies for the 656D program.Today the project is going to be closed,the effective control of the schedule management has been recognized from the current results.Based on the reference of domestic and foreign literatures,this article links the practice with theory,successfully applied project schedule and control theory into the marketing programs,which has a certain reference value.
