Construction industry as a pillar industry plays a huge role in promoting economic development and improving people's life. However, with rapid growth in construction investment, some problems, such as project investment out of control, "unfinished project" and so on, come into being. From the above, although the construction industry in the national production plays an irreplaceable role, but its own serious defects in industrial structure, cost control no longer meet the market needs of economic development, resulting in a huge waste of resources and the environment pollution. And it is not conducive to the healthy development of its own industry. However, the "Life Cycle Costing Control" mode, as a new concept of an ecological construction cost management paradigm, with its excellent cost control feed-forward concept, perfect intermediate cost control awareness and timely cost management measures afterwards, has attracted more and more attention from the construction industry practice and the academic session.This study aimed at improving and deepening Life Cycle Costing Control Practice in construction enterprises, which is a case study in Mian Sui Highway Project. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis, this paper acquire data through interview and field observation, thus arrives at some accurate conclusions. Furthermore, some recommendations is proposed.This paper is divided into six chapters.ChapterⅠ. Starting from the background of the cost practice in the construction industry, this paper analyzed the existing status of the current research on the project cost management, the practice status and its backward reasons, and then set up this paper's research direction.ChapterⅡ. In this session, Mian Sui Highway project cost management characteristics are elaborated first, on the one hand introducing the project profiles, project cost control features, etc., on the other hand focusing on analyzing the "construction project life cycle costing control" mode applicability of the project practice, and finally makes some application guidelines form the theory point.ChapterⅢ. This part is an in-depth study discussing the cost control of the project design phase. From cost elements such as the engineering quality, project life, cost and labor, machines, materials and so on, this chapter analyzed the role of feed forward control of congenital, furthermore, elaborated the beforehand restraints role on the follow-up work of the PR function of the R&D stage.ChapterⅣ. This chapter discusses the project construction phase cost management deeply. According to "Labor"-"Machine"-"Material" different characteristics, different cost control methods in the research are chosen. From the relationships between the three factors, this session discusses a multi-factor cost integrated control.ChapterⅤstudies the cost control of the Mian Sui Highway Project operation and maintenance phase, talking about how to enhance the Life Cycle Costing concept, how to implement various cost control measures and methods. Through reflection of the stage cost control work, this chapter means to provide better feedback.ChapterⅥis the conclusion and outlook. This part mainly summarizes the construction project life cycle costing analysis and control, and proposes future directions for further research.
