Efficiency And Influence Factors Research On Environmental Protection Industry Listed Companies Of China

This paper mainly takes the environmental protection industry listed companies in China as research objects, and then has a empirical research on the efficiency and its changes of the research objects from 2007 to 2009 by selecting the data envelopment analysis. And then, this paper discussed the reasons of each environmental protection industry listed companies for its change of the efficiency. Finally it analyzes the factors which is likely to affect the efficiency of China's environmental protection industry listed companies by using regression analysis, and puts forward some relevant policy suggestions. This paper generally consists of six parts:The first part, the paper systematically discusses its background, research aim and significance, current research status quo at home and abroad, main contents and research methods, and the possible existence of papers of innovation and inadequate.The second part, after reviewing the relevant theory of enterprise efficiency, and introducing the basic principle and construction process of the model of the data envelopment analysis in details, which will be used to prepare the empirical research for the fourth part.The third part firstly introduces the developing status and trend of environmental protection industry listed companies, then analyzes qualitatively the internal and external restricted factors which is likely to affect its efficiency, which will make matting for researching the operation efficiency for the following part.The fourth part, first of all, according to classification of the main business, the paper selects the 33 home environment protection industry listed companies as research samples; And on the basis of original input-output method defined and the principles of selecting evaluation indexes, it resets the input-outputindicator; Secondly, through the use of multi-stage and based on inputs of the DEA model, this paper comprehensively evaluates the efficiency of each environmental protection industry listed company from 2007 to 2009 and concludes the relative efficiency score of each company. Then compared separately from the Angle of transverse and longitudinal for each company's operation efficiency;Finally, the efficiency is decomposed into pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency, and separately analyzed each listed company from the two aspects.On the basis of the fourth part, the fifth part first assumes that some company factors which affect China's environmental protection industry listed companies. These factors are selected mainly from three aspects which contain ownership structure, capital structure and personnel quality structure, and then which is researched empirically through DEA-Tobit two step methods.The sixth part, we will summarize the basic conclusion of this paper, then according to the empirical results, give several relevant suggestions for not only government departments and environmental protection enterprise itself, but also Banks, other financial institutions and the related investor by combining the theory with the current development situation of China's environmental protection industry listed companies.
