Research On Tourism Efficiency And Analysis Of Influence Factors In Shandong Province From The Perspective Of Sustainable Development

As one of the most promising industries,tourism has a good sustainable development capability.Shandong Province belongs to the eastern coastal provinces.The tourism development has superior location conditions and the development environment is relatively mature.However,due to the strong dependence of tourism development on resources and the environment,and the wide range of complex tourism,the current rapid development of tourism and the increasingly serious damage to the tourism environment,tourism must promote sustainable development.Therefore,from the perspective of sustainable development,revealing the status quo and evolution of tourism efficiency in Shandong Province,and then exploring the key factors affecting the efficiency of tourism,it is of great significance to promote the healthy development of tourism in Shandong Province and the rapid construction of facilities.Under the conditions of considering environmental economic factors,this paper selects the number of employed people in the tourism industry,the investment projects completed during the year,and the energy conservation and environmental protection expenditures as the input indicators.The total number of tourists and total tourism revenues are used as output indicators,then the city's tourism efficiency was measured and analyzed for 17 cities in Shandong Province.Firstly,the traditional DEA model is used to obtain the comprehensive efficiency value and pure technical efficiency value of tourism in each city.Then,the two efficiency values are corrected by Bootstrap method to obtain more accurate values,and Malmquist decomposition is obtained to obtain tourism in Shandong Province.Total factor productivity,and finally through the establishment of a random effects panel model to screen the factors affecting the total factor productivity of tourism in ShandongProvince.Compared with the traditional DEA model,the Bootstrap-DEA model solves the problem of overestimation of efficiency values.By comparing the efficiency values,it can be seen that the tourism efficiency of 17 cities in Shandong Province has not been effective,and the fluctuations in the adjacent years are not large.The development of tourism in coastal areas has promoted the improvement of tourism in the province.Inland areas dominated the province's tourism industry with a relatively large proportion,and the results of Malmquist's decomposition also reached similar conclusions.Among the influencing factors,the proportion of industrial structure has a negative impact on the total factor productivity of tourism.The level of urbanization and the level of economic development have a positive impact.The improvement of urbanization level can significantly increase the total factor productivity of tourism.According to the research conclusions,suggestions are made for the problems,in order to provide assistance for the development of tourism in Shandong Province.
