Acrylic fiber is the main product of Jilin Ji-Monte, It is synthetic fiber manufactured by wet spinning. Jilin Ji-Monte Co, Ltd bye Monte Fiber's technology in Italy, The company technology is advanced and the machine is better in the world. But there are some problems on the production and operation management, and they need to be improved, for example, the people is main point in the production and operation management, the company should improve the people's work efficient, it is long time task, the machinery management is important. But in this paper we study on the plan management, quality control management, equipment management and cost management.Because affected by the expanding capacity in the acrylic fiber factory, the high price of oil, import the fiber occupying the inside market and down factory's bad running, the acrylic fiber companies have very little profit space and we call it tiny benefit time. So the developing different acrylic fiber is needed, and the new kind of fiber may change the market situation.Moreover, the raw material of the acrylic fiber is AN, belong to the byproduct of oil, so it's price was changed all the time. In the future the supply of the raw material will become shrinkage according to the oil exploitation being reduced. Especially affected by the finance crisis since 2008, the textile trade including acrylic fiber has little profit.For all above the causes, Jilin Ji-Monte Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd have the problem in the profit in the recently years. Because the raw material's price change great, the cost is difficult to control. In 2010 Jilin Ji-Monte Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd has a production capacity 100,000ton, but only earn 23,000,000yuan. Some time Ji-Monte Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd was puzzled for the raw material being hard up, and less capacity than design, reduce the benefit. Jilin Ji-Monte Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd fetch in advanced equipment and process, and the plant is controlled by DCS, and the company has set up information system of process management, and its production and operation management is very good. But there are some problems also in the management. Aspect of plan management, some production plans are not reasonable. Aspect of production quality control, every year have the quality problem feedback, for example, the wet fiber, the strong fiber, the break fiber tow, and so on. Aspect of equipment management, there are some stopped machine being out of planning. Aspect of the cost management, some consumption of material is more than target. So the up problems should be controlled and optimized.This paper refer the related theory of production and operation management, including the definition of production and operation planning, institute the way of planning, the quality control in the production and operation, the equipment management and cost management in production and operation. After the now condition analysis of Jilin Ji-Monte Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd, to find the problem in the production and operation management, and aim at the problem optimizing the management. The purpose is to improve the productivity, reduce the material consumption and cost, and enhance the company's benefit.
