Study On Chinese Shipping Agency Industry Developing To Modern Logistics

Economic globalization, especially after China's accession to the WTO, shipping agent industry, as a link and subsystems for international trade is also being well received by its impact. At the same time, the global financial crisis also resulted in greater pressure as the lower reaches of the chain. Shipping agent companies are needed newer and higher requirements.In this paper, firstly, we analyze the relevant literature to have a clear research purpose and meaning. Then the related concepts of ship agencies and modern logistics are explained systematically, which lay a foundation for the following analysis of the development of shipping agencies to the modern logistics. Then the development status of China's shipping agents is explained from two aspects:the development status of China's shipping agencies and the problems facing the agencies in the process of development; the internal and external environment of China's shipping agencies is clarified; and the gray prediction method is used to forecast the number of ships called at Chinese ports while analyze the trends of shipping agency industry. Then the paper uses.SWOT method to clearly analyze the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of developing China's ship agency industry to modern logistics industry. Finally, according to the above analysis, the development model and countermeasures for developing China's shipping agency industry to modern logistics industry are given.
