| In the process of building an international shipping center, shipping finance is an important driving force to strengthen the status of the international shipping center. Shipping financial of the developed countries in Europe and the United States are fully reinforced, while the development of China’s shipping finance is slow. Tianjin Port through put leapt to the forefront of the world, but less international competitiveness of capital markets and financial services industry due to the international shipping center of Tianjin less competitive. So the necessary condition for building the international shipping center in Tianjin is a high degree of shipping financial sector development to ensure this center enables high efficiency and low-cost financial support for the shipping industry in Tianjin.This paper involves the use of regional economics, industry economics and shipping finance, exerts the theory of international shipping center to demonstrate relations of modern shipping financial services system and the establishment of the international shipping center. The construction of shipping finance is an important element of construction of soft environment about the international shipping center. And it is the key aspects of international shipping center too. A mature international shipping center is bound to have developed shipping financial services industry to support.From comparison the famous international shipping center, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, New York, Tokyo and Singapore, the financial sector of the world famous shipping center are often developed, even a financial center. So this paper puts forward the necessity of creating shipping the financial services system in the development of the international shipping center in Tianjin.This paper uses SWOT analysis to build hold matrix by creating the advantage, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of shipping financial services system in Tianjin. Then propose that Tianjin should take the strategy of both SO and ST. The one hand, leverage strengths and opportunities to maintain the level of financial services and business scope of the existing shipping, then go all out to improve the scale of shipping finance business in this field. The other hand, exert advantages and avoid the threat to create cooperation with the neighboring countries of the shipping financial services system.Taking the international shipping center in Tianjin for example, propose to build the framework of the financial services system to improve the status of the international shipping center. Build the financial services system by East Free Port of Tianjin as a breakthrough, Tianjin Port as the basis, the financial district Yujiapu as a link to enhance the status of the international shipping center in Tianjin, especially in the north. Finally, put forward suggestions to build shipping financial services system for Tianjin from the government, financial institutions, enterprises and intermediary organizations. |
