Research Of The Mode Of Innovation-driving Homegrown Standards Industrialization

With the global economic integration, to establish technical standards and realize standards industrialization to promote economic has been the key point of catching up with the developed countries. Standard industrialization ties R&D and technology diffusion together, promoting the technology of the industry and the homegrown innovation. In the competition of standards industrialization, the advanced enterprises abroad are taking charge of the core technology and occupying the main market, which impedes the developing countries'entrance into the standards. So how to realize technology catching up and make marketing stratigies becomes the crucial problem of promoting homegrown standards industrialization in the context of lacking innovation resources and technology.This thesis anylized the models of homegrown standards through empirical analysis and case studies, basing of the theory of standards establishing and compition, the relation between technology innovation and standards and the theory of standards industrialization. Firstly, this thesis used patents to measure innovation and made use of cointegration analysis, error correction model and Granger causality test to analyze the influence relationship between standardization and patents application from the time series dimension, chosing chose telecommunications industry as a study sample. Secondly, selected several representative homegrown standars cases to verify that technology promotes standards and at the meanwhile, to provide evidence of how to make industrialization stratigies. At last, the thesis gave the modes of innovation-driving homegrown standards industrialization and the mechanism of the mode.This thesis drew conclusions through the research above. Technical innovation promotes standards, not only in the international communications industry but also in China's homegrown standards industrialization cases. Technical innovation promotes the establishing of standards and provides technology foundations for industrialization. In the context of lacking innovation resources and technical abilities, Chines companies can introduce alternative mode, technology catch-up mode and big country effect mode according to different situations.
