For any organization to achieve its performance is the foundation of the implement of goals and mission. The study about organizational performance is the central issue in today's high efficiency society. And among all of these, employee performance is the most basic elements to achieve organizational performance. We need to continue the study on how to predict, to evaluate, and to improve job performance.In the present studies of Goal orientation and job performance, the different or even same researchers found divarication in different academic studies when they focus on how the learning goal orientation and scholar goal orientation impact the job performance in different dimensions. Researchers believe that the goal orientation on job performance through the use of the individual to achieve self-monitoring strategy, and thus come to different conclusions. In this study, goal orientation, job performance and vocational delay of gratification are regarded as the research object.527 questionnaire survey conducted by several organizations. The correlation in between these three variables and the resonance function of vocational delay of gratification are measured and obtained the following results:(1) Workers with different ages, different title levels and different work experience and other variables can significantly affect the goal orientation, employee gender, education, age, job performance have a significant effect of gender on vocational delay of gratification and working late to meet a significant impact.(2) Job performance and goal orientation showed a significant positive correlation.(3) Goal orientation and vocational delay of gratification presented a significant positive correlation.(4) Vocational delay of gratification, work delay of gratification and career life delay of gratification, job performance, contextual performance, task performance, innovation performance, learning performance had significant positive correlation between each other.(5) Goal orientation impact on job performance through career delay of gratification, the resonance function of vocational delay of gratification was proved in this study.
