Localized and indigenous marketing strategy will be very important for any international companies. Any foreign company want to make a positive business result in China, win in the market, they must know well about Chinese local market itself and its development status. The foreign company must set up the business and marketing strategy according to China local real situation. Only with this kind of activities, the company who want to come into the China market can be developed well here.In the article, indigenous marketing theory will be the base theory to discuss the details. With a deep investigation to the optical system division of 3M Company, we got the first hand data. Then we do further discussion on indigenous marketing strategy according analysis on the optical system division of 3M Company.There are two parts in this article, academic analysis and example discussion. In the academic analysis segment, some discussion on present theory of over-sea business strategy and indigenous marketing strategy were included in it. For the example discussion segment, we used the example of 3M Company to investigate more. With the detail analysis on BEF market and DBEF market, we suggest to improve the indigenous marketing strategy for 3M.The suggestion will be for the different product and different strategy we shall combine them together, and set up the different marketing strategy in the specified indigenous market.
