AU's Mode Of Operation Of Cell Production

Competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises is decided by effectiveness of manufacturing management in market with growing competition.Constantly manufacturing improvement should be one key strategy of a manufacturing enterprise.AUO which is world-renowned TFT-LCD manufacturing enterprises used cell production methods from 2010.Through analysis of cell production, AUO saves manufacturing manpower and reduces WIP.This article descripts how to apply cell production in cost controlling strategy, detail methods, and problems also solutions in implementation base on actual cell production implementing situation of AUO.This article includes six chapters. Cell production import background is introduced in chapter 1. In chapter 2, author introduced cell production theory and review of studies. In chapter 3, author introduced TFT-LCD industry and AUO company, and analyzed some problems in manufacturing management before cell production implementation. In chapter 4, author illuminated cell production implemented process in S06 factory of AUO(suzhou) and manufacturing improvement strategies base on cell production theory. Also, author used really models to descript those manufacturing improvement strategies.In chapter 5, author summaried some of the key problems and the train of thought encountered in the implemented process of cell production.According to this article, we could find out that cell production could help companies to lower labor and inventory cost effectively. Manufacturing cost controlling strategy could work efficiently base on cell production, and those strategies could also improve cost competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises.
