An Empirical Research On Affacting Factors Of FDI Of Hebei Province

With the development of the Reform and Opening-up of China, economic globalization and regional economic integration Process,foreign direct investment plays an important role in China's rapid economic development of each industry. After joining WTO, foreign direct investment of our country enters a new stage. Hebei is close to China's capital of Beijing, having the important strategic status. In the increasingly fierce competition in today's society, Hebei province foreign direct investment faces new challenge.This article attempts analysis the impact factor of foreign indirect investment of Hebei province , suggesting policies and measures to attract foreign direct investment from the empirical perspective.In the preface, we first introduce the background and significance of the topics, and then propose the contents, emphases, and innovations in this paper. The first chapter, we first introduce the meaning of foreign investment, then we describe foreign investment theories in detail, such as: the theory of monopolistic advantage, product life cycle theory, marginal industry expansion theory, internalization theory, the eclectic theory of international production for the back analysis of the paper.The second chapter analyzes the influencing factors of foreign direct investment. And we analyze the investment environment such as: the factor of cost, market, agglomeration, educational and cultural, providing theoretical basis when selecting specific factors.The third chapter analyzes the present situation of the foreign direct investment of Hebei Province. We first of all introduce the development process of foreign direct investment , the development characteristics and the effects to economic development of Hebei province.Later take 2009 as an example, we analyze the foreign direct investment of Hebei Province from four angle undertook concrete such as :the investment, industry investment, industrial sectors of national economy as well as the nationality area .And we also evaluate the foreign direct investment of Hebei provinceThe fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of foreign direct investment. And we analyze the investment environment such as: the factor of cost, market, agglomeration, educational and cultural, providing theoretical basis when selecting specific factors. We choose nine factors to do factor analysis, according to the factor analysis factor score regression analysis. The results show: the secondary industry and service sector is the primary factor, GDP pc is the second factors; urban residents per capita income is the third factors; per capita wage is the fourth factors; investment in fixed assets is the fifth factors; import and export volume is the sixth factors; Transportation routes, The number of graduates from colleges and Universities, The cumulative FDI have less influencing degrees to the foreign direct investment of Hebei Province.Based on the Empirical analysis, chapter 5 Put forward some policy suggestions to attract foreign direct investment of Hebei province, such as: To Promote the adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure and accelerate the development of the tertiary industry; To promote economic development, increasing the income of urban residents; To strengthen infrastructure construction, improving the location disadvantage; To develop industrial assemble effect, driving economy of complete province; To improve the level of education, improving laborer quality.In chapter 5, we conclude our contributions and point out some limitations of the portfolio model proposed in the paper. Finally we give an outlook for further research.
