In recent years, with the booming Chinese pharmaceutical market and expanding the market size, competition among enterprises is more intense. In the context of the slowdown market in the United States, Europe, Japan and other communities, China's pharmaceutical market is expected to maintain a rapid growth in the next decade and to become the world's second largest pharmaceutical market in 2019. In the period of both opportunities and challenges, the domestic pharmaceutical companies will increasingly focus on strategic planning, effective implementation of the strategy to achieve sustainable development of enterprises.What kind of management system can help to achieve the ultimate goal of corporate strategy? and guide employees to proper behavior? How to ensure practical implementation of strategic business activities in every aspect? Performance management is a good way to solve these problems. In fact, those excellent enterprises at home and abroad have achieved better strategy-implementation through effective performance management.In this paper, the condition is that in the current development process of a pharmaceutical company (company A), there appears such phenomenon as one-sided pursuit of sales, ignoring the personal development and capacity enhancement, the loss of a large number of excellent sales staff and lack of staffs sense of belonging to the company, which directly impact on annual sales and the company's development strategy implementation and other issues. By optimizing the existing sales department performance evaluation, establishing a balanced scorecard for the management of the performance management system, and comprehensively taking the company's financial performance, customer satisfaction, internal management processes, employee growth and innovation into account, the performance management of existing problems the pharmaceutical companies are solved, with the improved performance management level and better implementation of the company's sales strategy and goal achievement.
