The Study On Zhangzhou Export Competitiveness Of The Flower Industry

Flower industry is on the rise gradually and is favored for its green and environmental protection. It attracts a strong support of national government and region, especially in some developing countries, such as Kenya, Zimbabwe, India. It makes these countries reach to the world market and integration into the global economy in the case of limited resources. For some agricultural areas of China, developing flower industry has become to one important way to achieve structural adjustment of agriculture and industrial restructuring.Planting flower forms industrialization in Zhangzhou after the founding of PRC. Go through decades of continuous optimization and improvement, it has formed a industrial management, market operation and modern management, and bred varieties of flowers with its own regional characteristics, such as Banyan Bonsai, Daffodil, Orchid etc., and has a competitive edge in the competition of domestic and international market. With the constant improvement of infrastructure, policy support and corporate support strength, the export of Zhangzhou flower industry will be more diverse channels, more extensive areas and more low cost. Zhangzhou flower industry will be one pillar industries and promote economic development rapidly.This paper reviews the relevant academic research. According to the status quo of development and export, It summarizes some problems in the flower export. Then it selects six elements indicators MPR , ECR ,TCI , RCAI , CI , EGI and uses related data for quantitative analysis, and conducts qualitative analysis based on Diamond Model theory, and derives the specific circumstances on export competitiveness of the flower industry. Finally, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions to enhance export competitiveness of Zhengzhou flower industry.
