Study On Sustainable Development Of Tourism In Guangxi Northern Gulf Coastal Areas

With the economic and social development of Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas, especially the accelerating industrialization process, tourism is more and more prominent. However, it started late, and the task will be also very difficult, we must take the scientific development way in order to truly achieve development goals. This study aims to explore the healthy, fast, durable development way of tourism in Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas.Based on the analysis about the profile, opportunities, challenges and historical mission of tourism in Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas, with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), evaluate sustainable development capacity of tourism in the Northern Gulf coastal areas including supporting ability of regional environment, tourism situation, tourism trend, and tourism coordination ability. The results show that: Supporting ability of regional environment has reached elementary level, but also needs to enhance; tourism situation is poor; tourism trend is good overall, but can not be optimistic about economic subsystem; Tourism coordination ability has reached elementary level, but the status in the third industry is weak, and the coordination ability of social subsystem is weak; the growth of total tourism revenue can not properly compensate for the destruction of the human environment, so it needs to enhance pressing. Overall, the sustainable development of tourism in Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas is still at an early stage. According to the above, with the Scientific development view as the guiding ideology, importing the concept of circular economy, propose the ways to realize sustainable development of tourism in Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas:take intensive way of tourism operators; pursuit the unity of economic, social and ecological benefits; adjust the structure of tourism products; combine the domestic tourism and inbound tourism. To protect the Tourism in Guangxi Northern Gulf coastal areas developing in a sustainable way, we need related policies including circular economy, community participation, and tourism industry.
