Nowadays, increasing organizations work in the forms of teams. How to improve organizational performance is great important for organizations and Knowledge worker team is the one which could contribute to the improvement of organizational performance. Based on the methods of case interviews and questionnaires, this paper develops the influences of team temporal focus heterogeneity on team innovation performance using intra-group conflicts as a mediator. All collected data is analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. We have several conclusions as follows:intra-group conflicts would mediate the relationship between team temporal focus heterogeneity and team innovation performance. Team temporal focus heterogeneity will improve team task conflicts and relationship conflicts. Task conflicts will improve team innovation results, team innovation activities and team innovation capabilities. Relationship conflicts will decrease team innovation results, team innovation activities and team innovation capabilities. When using team temporal focus heterogeneity as future orientation, team temporal focus heterogeneity will cause task conflicts higher.The theory contributions and realistic meanings in this paper are as follows: Firstly, we introduce the concept of temporal focus in team heterogeneity and team performance research which could be a new view to evaluate team performance and assessment. Secondly, this paper researches the influence process of team temporal focus heterogeneity on team performance which will help improve the time management of knowledge team. Lastly, our paper found that temporal focus heterogeneity in future orientation team will cause higher task conflicts and then improve the performance of a team. This conclusion will give some evidences for managers to foster time orientation in the teams.
