| Consumption not only directly impact greenhouse gas emission, but alsoindirectly affects greenhouse gas emissions through industrial production. Itdetermines the level of carbon dioxide emission in the course of human activity.Carbon consumption is an important way to reduce greenhouse gas emission, andurban consumption is a major source of greenhouse gas emission. Therefore, theresearch on the low-carbon of urban consume has important theoretical and practicalsignificance.Targeting Hangzhou residents' low carbon consumption behavior, we takeadvantage of survey method to start our investigation and research, and descriptivestatistical method, multiple regression, comparative static equilibrium analysis. Itmainly answers the content of low-carbon consumption, and its current situation ofHangzhou residents, factors that affect the residents'low-carbon consumption, theimplementation of low-carbon consumption. It has obtained the following fourconclusions:(1) It points out that the low carbon consumption is mainly to reduce theemission of greenhouse gases characterized by carbon dioxide, and mainly includesthe residents behavior of high carbon consumption decarbonated, behavior of lowcarbon product purchasing and using, and protecting greenhouse gas sinks.(2) Lowcarbon consumption of Hangzhou residents has great potential. At present, there are asignificant proportion of Hangzhou residents with high carbon consumption, and theirconformity psychological and conspicuous psychological is strong.(3) Awareness ofsocial responsibility, carbon consumption knowledge, conspicuous psychological, herd mentality are main factors that affect residents'low-carbon consumptionbehavior.Among them, the awareness of social responsibility has great effects onpurchasing and using of low carbon product. Low carbon knowledge impacts thebehavior of high carbon consumption decarbonated and protecting greenhouse gassinks greatly.(4) It proposed three specific measures, including the means of controlwhich is based on ban, standards and penalties, economic incentives based onhigh-carbon consumption tax and consumer subsidies for low-carbon, and educational tools based on strengthening the propaganda of low-carbon consumption knowledge. The innovation lies in redefining the meaning of low-carbon consumption, analyzing the impact factors of residents'low-carbon consumption by comparativestatic equilibrium analysis. The thesis uses survey methods to collect data, and useseconomic theory, sociological theory and consumer behavior theory to study low-carbon consumer behavior. |
