The Empirical Analysis And Countermeasures Of Influence Factors On The Low-carbon Consumption Behavior Of Urban Residents In Nanchang

Global warming has become the focus of international attention. It has seriouslyaffected the environment, leading to the rise of sea level、the decrease of agriculturaloutput、the alienation of ecosystems, which are contrary to the core ideas ofsustainable development. In this regard, the Intergovernmental Panel on ClimateChange (IPCC) pointed out that：“Global warming is mainly attributable to theexcess level of carbon dioxide emissions from human activities.” The EighteenthNational Congress reported that, We must apply the view of Scientific Outlook onDevelopment, and fully implement the overall plan for promoting economic, political,cultural, social, and ecological progress, ensure coordinated progress in all areas ofendeavors in the modernization drive. And residents should change the lifestyle inorder to build a new pattern of modernization, which human beings will liveharmonious with the nature. The low-carbon consumption is the inevitable demand ofthe Scientific Outlook on Development, and it is an important way of urban toachieve the goal of low-carbon development. Therefore, the study on low-carbonconsumption behavior of urban residents has some theoretical and practicalsignificance.This article is based on China’s national conditions, combined with relevantresearch results at home and abroad, and describes the theoretical basis of low-carbonconsumption. On this basis，the article constructs the evaluation index system of theinfluence factors on the low-carbon consumption behavior of urban residents. Thisarticle carries out the investigation of the influence factors on the Low-carbonconsumption behavior of urban residents in Nanchang by questionnaires and multipleregression statistical methods. Eventually the article puts forward the pointedountermeasures.This article is divided into seven chapters：the first chapter is anintroduction；the second chapter is the theory basis；the third chapter analyzes theevolution of China’s urban residents’ consumption behavior; the fourth chapter is theempirical analysis of influence factors on the low-carbon consumption behavior ofurban residents in Nanchang；the fifth chapter is the experience from domestic and foreign；the sixth chapter gives some suggestions；the final chapter presents theconclusions and outlook.The conclusions of this article are as follows: the consumption behavior ofChina’s urban residents becomes rational；The urban residents of Nanchang have astrong sense of social responsibility and enjoy the optimum life style.They believe theproduct factors and social environmental factors could affect their low-carbonconsumption behavior, but it is not the decisive factor；Factors of sense of socialresponsibility、age、awareness of the low-carbon consumption、income level、lifestyle and gender will affect people’s low-carbon consumption behavior；based onthe above analysis and research, this article proposes countermeasures to promotelow-carbon consumption behavior of urban residents：strengthening the role of thegovernment、raising urban residents’ sense of social responsibility、 constantlyimprove the low-carbon consumption education of youth groups、promote thelow-carbon consumption behavior become a part of fashion in people’s mind、promotion of the low-carbon consumption knowledge、improve the function oflow-carbon products and so on.
