Development Of Rural Cooperative Economic Organizations

Development of rural cooperative economic organizations is a great reform and innovation for the original agricultural production mode, business pattern and function system; and is also a major creation for farmers to adapt to the socialist market economy. To accelerate development of rural cooperative economic organizations is effective for improving farmers'systematization level, promoting rural social division, advancing agricultural scale operation, reducing agricultural market risk, enhancing market competitiveness of agricultural products, involving farmers in profit share of every aspect, increasing their property and transfer income, establishing long-term mechanism for famers'income increase, transforming government function, enhancing its social services, as well as promoting sound and rapid development for rural agricultural economy. Therefore, the research on development and improvement of rural cooperative economic organizations under new situation has important theoretical and practical value.This paper aims to explore strategies for further developing and improving China's rural cooperative economic organizations, through analyzing its actual situation. Chapter one is to specify purpose of study, research significance, domestic and international research results, research methods, and innovative points, etc. Chapter two is mainly about the basic theory of rural cooperative economic organizations, defining rural cooperative economic organizations, describing main types, nature and theoretical basis of rural cooperative economic organizations. Chapter three reviews the development history of China's rural cooperative economic organizations, and researches the historical necessity and development principle of the organizations. Chapter four appraises the development status of China's rural cooperative economic organizations through information research and field research. The development of rural cooperative economic organizations has great effectiveness on some aspects, such as lowering production costs, increasing farmers'income, improving famers'market dominant position, strengthening market competitiveness; promoting agricultural structure adjustment, and advancing industrialization of agriculture, etc. But there also existing many conflicts, between famers'strong desire for development and their unclear knowledge of rural cooperative economic organizations, between organization principles, operation rules and current nonstandard function, between flexible development forms and lagging development status; between requirement on fast development of rural cooperative economic organizations and tense external environment. Chapter five analyzes the abroad development of rural cooperative organizations, especially in United States, Europe and Japan etc. Chapter six puts forwards some ideas for accelerating development and improvement of rural cooperative economic organizations. The promotion ideas mainly focus on enlighten consciousness, strengthen propaganda and guidance; giving efforts to build standards, perfecting legal system and organizational management system; establishing flexible forms of development based on actual factors; enhancing supports and optimizing external environment etc.
