With such a background, the essay studies 3 aspects in the molding production management which are the best order quantity, molding parts inventory control and equipment utilization, and find a lot to be improved. By the detailed investigation and analysis, we found the below reasons for the 3 issues:1. the way to finalize the order quantity is not reasonable; 2. there is no inventory control model; 3. the on-site management is not good and the change over takes too long, which caused the low equipment utilization. The solutions are:1. by study the methods of the order lot quantity, and take the management status in BSL into consideration, we at last conclude the Economic Order Quantity is the best way in BSL.2. Combine the ABC and Kanban principle, defines the inventory control model and improves the inventory structure at the same time.3.6S on-site management is a precondition to realize the fast change over which improves the equipment utilization.
