| The study was aimed at analyzing farming methods, the scale of farming, management, production efficiency of"Southwestern Fujian black rabbit"which were in different historical periods, different production conditions, different economic levels, doing research on the advantages, disadvantages and prospects about rabbit farming in Shanghang county. The emphasis was on investigating and summarizing the experience on the appearance of Tongxian Township"Southwestern Fujian black rabbit"genetic resources, protection of breeding, modern production experience, then the measures were drew off to solve the problems on rabbit raising. The current work involved genetic resources protection, industrial management and market development. In order to provide high-quality products, it was essential to protect the genetic resources and improve the purity of"Southwestern Fujian black rabbit". The pattern to develop rabbit farming was'corporation+ Rabbit cooperatives+ Demonstration households+ Backyard rabbit farmers'. Demonstration households should be supported in particular. Then, let the demonstration households promote backyard rabbit farmers. It was necessary to promote the sustainable development of rabbit farming and provide healthy rabbit products by exploring new processing products, expanding consumer market, making full use of green forages, encouraging to plant grass for rabbit raising. |
