Research Of Mechanisms Between China's International Services Trade And Service Industry

With the global economy steps into service economy stage, international services trade is developing quickly, output scale of each country's service industry is bigger and bigger; their effect on the economy is much more outstanding than before. As the raising economic role, studies of the international trade and service industry become the academic works'focus. China's international services trade and service industry appears some realistic problems. These problems need to be solved by prompt and pertinent policy.Industry is a source of trade flows, the paper takes the close relationship between the development of international trade and service industry as the entry point, makes the research of the mechanism between both of them as the paper's key point.The paper starts from relative theories of international trade and service industry, firstly analyzes the determining factors of both, constructs theoretical mechanism, figures out they interact each other by factor endowments, demands and scale economy, selects per capita income, market scale, openness of services trade, capital accumulation, human resource and technological progress as the mediation variables and works out the effect flowchart. Then, from many aspects, by using data and charts, the paper objectively presents the development status of China's international services trade and service industry, foreshadows the following content. With the adoption of mediation effect test and China's data of 1997-2009, the paper tests the mediation effect from two directions: mechanism of international trade to service industry; mechanism of service industry to international trade.The empirical analysis result shows that through the mediation effects of per capita income, market scale, openness of services trade, capital accumulation, human resource and technological progress, China's international service trade and services industry influent mutually, the effects varies from different departments that means some actual statement and problems.
