Study On Relationships Among Population Characteristics Of Zheshang, Operating Risk Early-Warning Ability And Susutaianable Development

With the influence of continuous development of world economy and financial crisis, costs of land and labor enhance gradually, prices of energy and raw materials rise successively, marketing competition becomes increasingly fierce, trade protectionism grows stronger, which bring more difficulties to enterprises'survival environment. As a business group, Zhejiang merchants have special population characteristics, which affect the conduct of their business decisions. Furthermore, in order to achieve sustainable development, they should take some effective measures to monitor, identify, assess and control operating risks. By this way, enterprises could improve their business strategy to enhance market competitiveness and reinforce the ability to fulfill social responsibility, realizing the aim to unify economic efficiency with social efficiency. Therefore, it has a significant sense of times to analyze the mechanism of population characteristics of ZheShang, the ability of operating risk early-warning and sustainable development of enterprises by empirical research, which promotes the perfection of risk early-warning theory and provides a theoretical basis for sustainable development.Based on the relevant studies by previous researchers on group characteristics of ZheShang, operating risk early-warning ability and sustainable development, this text establishes a relational model among them and proposes 43 hypotheses in the paper. Moreover, population characteristics of ZheShang are divided into four dimensions: Adventurous tend, bravery of novelty, pragmatism and cooperation; the ability of operating risk early-warning includes three dimensions: the capacity of risk identification, assessment and control; sustainable development contains four dimensions: business performance, support with talented people, innovation and social responsibility. In the process of research, I totally sent out 357 questionnaires to different enterprises in different industries and got back 313 ones where 273 are available, which comes up to the standard of large sample. After tests of reliability and availability of samples by Spss18.0 and Amos17.0, this dissertation utilizes Structure Equation Model (SEM) to analyze correlation parameters and path coefficients, then validate assumptions and come to conclusions as follow: Firstly, population characteristics of ZheShang have some positive influence on the ability of operating risk early-warning; Secondly, operating risk early-warning ability has some positive impact on sustainable development; Thirdly, group characteristics of ZheShang have significant indirect influence on sustainable development through the ability of operating risk early-warning. Besides, this paper also discusses and explains reasons that hypotheses can't be verified.At last, this dissertation gives a summary to all results of 43 hypotheses'empirical test and put forward suggestions about how guarantee the operating risk early-warning system functions effectively, which include five aspects: technique, finance, strategy, corporate culture and manager quality. In addition, limitations of research results are indicated and further study direction are discussed in this paper.
