From the middle of1980s, the concept of outsourcing has ever been proposed amongpeople. Those years, with the expanding demand of electronic industry, productsgradually developed in diversity. Besides, the life cycle time of produces are beingcut down. Them, there comes along a big issue for industries like how to contractorder in limited period, how to adapt itself to the changing demand, and how toproducts with high quality but lower cost, and how to meet the delivery and thevariability. With the expanding and growth of our manufacturing and the detailing ondivision of labor in society, outsourcing has now played an important part in thecompany management. Much as outsourcing did exist, it would not always bring outthe expected achievement. Then, to solve all the problems and lower cost, a goodmanaging on outsourcing has become prior now.Company T is one subsidiary company of a large manufacturing business with thesintered metal parts for phone and computer as the leading products. First, due to therich managing experience and mature technique skills, the sintering moldingdepartments kept developing and growing with the growing overturn, however,during the increase of orders, problems that labor and instruments lacks or newprocedure cannot be implemented, has gradually been inevasible. Now, formaintaining the competence, company T has passed the outsource project to solve theinsufficient labor and instrument through selecting the qualified outsourcer. Much asit goes on smoothly early, there still emerges many issues in the implement of such aproject, like that outsourcing could not be introduced as plan or quality failure.Therefore, the more severe of competition is, the better should the company handlethe outsourcing to strengthen its competition.The following essay focuses on analyzing the inner situation and supply source onaccount of current producing model and market future. Moreover, in the base of theories of management and supply chain, it studied the existing outsourcing cases inthe company. When introducing the outsourcing, the progress control trouble is socommon. Besides, progress control, quality control and cost control all restrict andsupport each other. Taking the control of outsourcing as the leading line to discoverand analyze problem in the progress control, this essay proposed solutions withconsideration of progress, cost and still quality control, after mainly studying thepossible progress trouble, the influence on progress from cost and quality control.First, the company should enhance progress control, re-build outsourcing schedule,raise the way to control project progress and then find the way for delay issue ofoutsourcing. Secondly, it should put forward the solution for quality's influence onprogress within analyzing such influence in the Company T's outsourcing; besides, towell resolve the delay problem, it should take the inspect standard, qualityimprovement and outsourcers' assistance in consideration. Thirdly, in accordancewith both theories of supply-chain and value-chain, there comes the win-win modelbetween company and outsourcer. In addition, company would assist outsourcers incost decline to figure out better measures for trouble during introducing. To smooththe implement of project, some improvement has been suggest here, like qualitycontrol, cost control and progress control infused in the working flow, the guidelinefor project members. Finally, it concludes that Company T learned from experience ofappropriate outsourcer selection, win-win relation establishment, projects' riskevaluation, progress control and support for outsourcers.With analysis of progress, quality and cost, measures to delay issue in outsourcingmanagement has been advanced to solve the current insufficient productivity andlabor, and offer outsourcing experience for others' reference.In addition, although outsource has been adopted in many companies, the research onoutsourcing is putting stress on the selection of outsourcers and scope. There stillneeds deep study on methods of progress and quality control in outsourcing, whichtwo have been emphasized in this essay.
