At present, the international energy competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and the progress of project management is paid more attention. As the global energy strategy adjustment, the international energy companies continue to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. The project schedule management is increasingly prominent, which is one of the important means to enhance enterprise competitiveness. Only through the optimization of the project schedule, reasonable adjustment of project organization, effective control of the project implementation, the project would be successfully operated; competitiveness of enterprises would be enhanced more effectively. It will beat many competitors to an invincible position in the competition.In this paper, the project management present situation of M-Block geophysical project in Pakistan by DF Corporation is taken as an example. Consider with the relevant theoretical methods of project management and project time management, a series of studies are carry out by case analysis and data statistics, which aim to analyze the question existing in the interpretation project management, and to design a set of effective project schedule management plan. First of all, the problems and reasons exists in project schedule management of M-Block geophysical interpretation project would be profound analyzed from the aspects of project resources, project planning, project organization. And then, to carry out the data comparison and optimization combine with the theory of project management. Finally, to form a set of project schedule management measures, which suitable for the project.This paper analyzes the question existing in M-Block geophysical interpretation project management that systematically from the view of project management theory and methods. And through the analysis and research, it summed up a set of method and process of project schedule management, which suitable for M-Block geophysical interpretation project. The research of this paper not only can effectively improve the operational efficiency of the project, and vigorously promote the full completion of the project. And to further improve the relevant project management theory in geophysical industry perspective. The research is worth to be the reference in same industry.
