Business Model Design And Enterprise Performance

With development of technology and the growing fierce competition,enterprise have to face the survival and development stress, so they have to consider how to improve enterprise performance and hold their competitive advantage. In order to solve this problem, the focus of strategic management and organizational design from within the enterprise extends to outside the enterprise. The emergence of the concept of business model to solve the problem of enterprise demarcation, but also change the internal pursuit of performance into the pursuit of a whole system of stakeholders, and then improve enterprise performance. Starting from the concept of business model, This study foucs the expansion of the concept of organizational boundaries, and then study how to improve business performance, so the theme of this paper the relationship between the business model design and business performance research is significant.This paper measure the relationship between the business model design and enterprise performance based GEM data and deepen the domestic research on this topic. First, the article discusses the concept of business model, the transactions design in the of previous studies extended to a wider range of stakeholders so as to bring the business model to the design of this concept and make business model design operable. This paper define the business model design as:In certain circumstances,in order to create and deliver value to the enterprise and its stakeholders, the reasonable measures is arrangement and external stakeholders transactions is managed, so as to form the structural integrity of design arrangements. Based on the above considerations and theoretical basis, this paper start from the innovative and efficient business model design, empirical analyzing the relationship between business model design and business performance.The data of this peper is drawed by the expert score on the Likert scale, and the research questionnaire is result of foreign scholars Zott&Amit's(2007) research,and the sample object is the enterprise listing on the GEM from the October30,2009to the October30,2010.The empirical part of this paper use Amos20.0to verify the assumptions, The empirical results show that novelty-centered business model design matters to the performance of enterprise, while the efficiency-centered business model design and both efficiency-and novelty-centered design and enterpriseper formance do not matters to the performance of enterprise. At the same time, this paper propose the business mode design Three-Step method, aiming to give some guidance to the enterprise business model design.
