Xin Jian River Port Strategic Alliance Of Zhuhai Port Development Strategic

China focuses on developing inland water transportation system and building the West River Waterway during the twelfth five-year guideline. Zhuhai port enters the new development cycle under the policy of development plan of PRD by providing the West River Strategy, stressing competition advantages, giving full scope to the logistics platform of West River ports, adding the value of industry supply chain and promoting the development of economy of West River's industry.This paper analyses the necessity and possibility of Zhuhai Port's West River Strategy by using port strategic alliance theory and comes to a conclusion that West River Ports Alliance could effectively realize scale economic benefit of Zhuhai Port and strengthen port enterprise's competitiveness by analyzing the internal and external environment of West River Ports Alliance and existing advantage and disadvantage in SWOT method.According to actual conditions, this paper provides the new West River Ports Alliance mode that improving logistics cooperation under the organization frame by building the alliance organization with Nanning, Wuzhou, Guigang and other West River ports. Based on the pure port business between Zhuhai Port and other West River ports, they should strengthen cooperation by taking finance as ligament, invest container terminals, logistics company, inland delivery center, inland ports and barge company, expand the comprehensive logistics network and feeder ports flock by develop a whole set service of loading and unloading, warehousing, packaging, declaration and transportation, and improve the core competitive of Zhuhai Port. Meanwhile, based on the city integration of Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen, we should integrate three cities'resource, focus on Zhuhai port, exploit the location and policy advantage of bonded port district in Zhuhai to full, develop business of international transfer, procurement, delivery, export processing, re-export business and so on, and expand the functions of port logistics park.This paper deeply studies the organization flow and concrete measure of West River Ports Alliance, analyses administration structure of alliance, risk prevention, profits allocation, partner selection and so on. Meanwhile, this paper gives some suggestions about methods of promoting West River Ports Alliance.
