Port Logistics Strategic Alliance Research

With the development of regional economic, the theory of logistics supply chain is widely used in the global. As the regional economy's driver and the international logistics operation node, the ports will continue to accept the new challenges from all parties. Establish port logistics strategy alliance is an effective way of developing the regional economic, improving the port competitiveness and constructing international port.Port logistics is the most important part of ports. To adapt the development of modern economy, ports, port logistics and some relative industries start to increase their own service function, enlarge their operation range, enhancing the service quality in all directions. However, as the rapid growth of clients'demands and the fierce competition from national and international port logistics strategic alliance, single port, port logistic enterprises, and the relative service industries can not compete against with it, all sorts of problems appear constantly.Only though institution innovation constantly can the existing problems in port logistics are solved. One of the effective innovations is building a new mode of port logistics strategy. Our ports, port logistic enterprises or other relative industries may build kinds of port logistics strategic alliances to improve the capacity of resisting risks, at the same time, it will also enhance members'competitiveness in the world, thus it prompts the core port in the area to become the leader of international comprehensive ports.Port logistics strategic builds on the basis of enterprises'alliance. Members in the alliance link together to achieve the same target, then form an organization of trusting each other, taking on venture and income together. Although members in the alliance do not aim at pursuing maximize profit, they may make more profits then average, this part of profit we calls"overflow profits". At the same time, relative enterprises may enhance the competion in a short time though building port logistics strategic alliance, thus become the strong assistor of globalization'rapid development.This paper researches at the basis of port logistics. Through analyzing the actual instance on our logistic strategic alliance, pointing out the shortages in these researches. Rely on the theory of statistics to analyzing the actual instance of our port logistics, finding out the fact that cooperation exists among ports, although the cooperation is not deep. Through the analysis on the actual instance, combine the modern strategic ideas at home and abroad with the actual instance in our ports. With the help of the development of the two networks, try to build the horizontal and vertical alliance in port logistics, thus brings forward a new mode of port strategic alliance, which based on the principle of horizontal alliance and supported on vertical alliance. It uses the questionnaire survey method and consulting interview method, fact-finding the actual instance of logistics alliance in JiaXing port, combing its actual situation and the five-years'planning of the twelfth of our country, give some suggestions on how to build the alliance well.At last, we can develop the economic of port hinterland through constructing port logistics strategic alliance, build international hub port and so on. In the process of structuring this alliance, we can do it from two aspects: longitudinal alliance and horizontal alliance. Horizontal alliance includes three phase, longitudinal alliance includes things from constructing industry and logistic next to port to back-land's dryport. Then longitudinal alliance combined with horizontal alliance forming the new type of port logistic strategic alliance model. Using this model on JiaXing port, getting unique JiaXing port model, giving some suggests for building region's multiple port logistic alliance.
