Research On Port EDI Center Project In Zhuhai

The port is an organization with a complex activity and a variety of participants. Timely and accurate information is helpful for the participants to make feasible stratefic decision-making, which leads to the overall efficiency of the port and each participant’s ascension.China port has entered to the allocation of resources for the construction of the center, international logistics center as the function of the third generation port. Computer management has been realized in port management and operation. However, with the continuous expansion of the port function and business requirements, port modernization management is increasingly high demand, port enterprises are faced with many realistic problems and needs.Based on the author’s daily work, introducing the connotation、the main process and application case of the port EDI, analysing the current economic development of Zhuhai and port infomation status, the author has designed a set of Zhuhai port EDI center construction plan and implementation plan. In the end, the article describes the future development of EDI:establishing an entity-business-enterprise to bring about the wisdom of port and big data era change.
