A Study Of Cloud-Based Trust Evaluation In P2P E-Commerce Environment

With the development of Information Economy, C/S model can nolonger meet the needs of E-commerce, because all its transactions areprocessed via server which restricts the development of E-commerce.Therefore, to explore a new model becomes necessary. P2P arises as anew e-commerce model in recent years. One typical example of P2Papplication is that user can buy or sell goods, search goods offered forsale, or list the information of goods for sale in the P2P networks, whichmakes e-commerce more human friendly, more efficient and moreflexible.However, P2P transaction is riskier than other e-commerce models,because usually the counter parties are anonymous without authorizedinstitute or entity to rely on, and everyone is of uncertainty and highmobility. So, to reduce risk and ensure success, people have to choose areliable party to deal with. Therefore, to ensure the safety of transaction,it's necessary to adopt trust management system, which is an urgent issuenot only for e-commerce or P2P technology itself. This thesis studies general development of P2P e-commerce,transaction characteristics and trusted evaluation system etc., analyzescharacteristics of trust issues rising from P2P e-commerce, explains thedefects of existing model, and proposes a cloud-based trust evaluationmodel in reality which will open new ideas to solve issues.This paper mainly focuses on below aspects:1. It studies theories related with P2P e-commerce, understands itscurrent situation, analyzes its advantages and existing problems.2. It dives into transaction characters of P2P e-commerce and setevaluation strategies accordingly.3. It studies on concepts and theories related to trust evaluation,summarizes current model and analyzes its existing defects, whichprovides basis for improvement.4. Combining transaction characters of P2P e-commerce, it improvesthe model and builds up cloud-based evaluation model of P2PE-commerce.
