Based on value stream map of lean manufacturing and lean enterprise evaluation system used in C company, this thesis analyzed the manufacturing process of product M in C company and completed lean enterprise score evaluation. By using Kaizen tool, team completed projects to improve management of production line, to reduce the cycle time of manufacturing and to solve the issues of equipment. Through 5S event the tools and different products have been relocated and the responsibility of operators has been redefined. Meanwhile,'Red Tag'is to be used to ensure the continuous improvement of 5S. With the time study of bottle neck step, the tooling and fixture were improved to reduce non-valued added time during process. This improvement leads to almost 50% improvement of productivity. During the TPM event, the root cause of equipment down time has been resolved and the maintenance process has been documented as standardized worksheet. Besides the Kaizen event being carried on site, the management of product M has also been reformed based on lean enterprise evaluation system. A new crossed function team was setup based on value stream of product M. With implement of leader standard work, on-site visual management and Gamba Walk of different management level, the role and responsibility of team member have been clarified to ensure they focus on process on site and continuous improvement. As a result, the lean manufacturing score of product M has been improvement from 1.3 to 3.7 after the events and implement.
