As the develop of modern industry, welding technology is in improving, welding automation is a obvious point. Automation can liberate manual exercises, improve the production, and seam tracking plays an important role in welding automation. Aluminium alloy is the most ordinary metal, which has been used in modern industry, covering all industrial production. Aluminium alloy welding automation will improving the production efficiency, retrenching the production cost and reducing physical consumption.This paper brought forward a aluminium alloy seam tracking system, based on the photoelectric sensor. This system aimed at the characteristic of aluminium alloy including a single point photoelectric sensor, control system and implement mechanism etc, and also designed a MSC-51tracking system software according to its system requirements.This article through a lot of experiments, according to aluminium surface glance quality, design the single point in aluminum alloy photoelectric sensor, and using the sensor actual operation get experimental data, the paper proposes the weighted comparison of the signal processing methods, improve the accuracy of the sensor.Prerequisite conditions in sensor, actuators for use on double cross slider mechanism, make whole system flexible operation.Through theoretical analysis and set up a corresponding mathematical model, based on the whole system requirements designed comply with the fuzzy control system.After MATLAB7.0software simulation, and the results show that this model is simple, reliable, and tracking precision is high. Using fuzzy control system, further improve the accuracy of the system and stable performance.This paper designed a single point aluminium alloy photoelectric sensor, according to aluminium surface glance quality through a lot of experiments, and using the sensor get experimental data, proposed the weighted comparison of the signal processing methods, improve the accuracy of the sensor. Using complex control system, we can improve accuracy and stable performance of the system.This paper proposes a method, that can definition method of state data storage space,and effective solving the problem that sensor upsetting with torch delay. Through this method, also greatly simplifing the control program, and improving the system accuracy.Though TIG welding experimental, we find that the single point photoelectric sensor seam tracking system designed by the author, can realize the seam tracking of aluminum alloy requirements, and low cost, operate agile, has high practical application value.
