Along with the increasing advance of requirements of NC machining speed and precisionby manufacturing, deepening of the study on high-speed&high-precision CNC lathe areattracting more attention. The components need to have high-precision and excellentstructural characteristics which can ensure the high rotating speed, max feed rate and highmachining accuracy of the high-speed&high-precision CNC lathe. Therefore, CNC latheneed to get performance evaluation in the design stage or to be optimized before improvementand setting, that would be contributed to improving the quality, reliability and economy of thehydraulic tool turret and whole machine.This article focuses on Jiangxi provincial key project of “Research&Development forHigh-speed&High-precision CNC Lathe”. GSCK200A high-speed&high-precision CNClathe which was subsidized by this projec has been invested and producted by NanchangKaixin Precision Machinery Co.,Ltd. By using finite element analysis method, this articlemade a dynamics performance properties research on the hydraulic tool turret of this project,and compared theoretical models and properties analysis results with the actual conditions.Optimized analysis is carried out for key component of the lathe and a reasonableimprovement for the structure is provided.The article contains follow main contents:(1) Extensively consult the literatures related to lathe dynamic characteristics of machinetool. Learn about the dynamic characteristics research survey about the lathe whole machineand components parts, and investigate the common method and important achievements homeand abroad.(2) This paper analyses structure of the hydraulic tool turret of the GSCK200Ahigh-speed&high-precision CNC lathe, caculates the cutting force and tensioning force inrough cutting condition, and then makes a static analysis of the hydraulic tool turret and thekey part of the tool turret cutter head and clutch.(3) By using ANSYS, this article analyses the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulictool turret and its key parts. This main job includes modal analysis and harmonic responseanalysis.(4) Optimized analysis is carried out for box of the hydraulic tool turret through usingfinite element software Hypermesh, and a reasonable improvement for the structure isprovided.
