The spontaneous combustion of coal comes into being the heat of coal oxidationunder the aptitude oxygen and heat preservation conditions.Spontaneous combustion of coalissue is one of the major disasters in safe production of China’s coal mine.And thespontaneous combustion period is the most direct and most extensive used key parameter,However, we cannot make a detailed description of the spontaneous combustion of coalunder practical conditions.So it is important signification to study the conditions ofspontaneous combustion, the impact factors of the development process, using theappropriate method to study the coal oxidation under the aptitude oxygen and built theprediction theory of coal spontaneous combustion.The method of the theory and the experiments is adopted in this paper.Take theHuating coal to the study object,analyzed the main influence factors to coal spontaneousconbustion period by different exeriments focusing on microcosmic active groups andmicrocrystalline parameters and macroscopical characteristic parameters,characteristictemperatures of coal. Firstly the microcrystalline parameters and coal molecular structurevariation in the low temperature oxidation process by XRD ray diffraction and infraredspectroscopy.Second, Based on the thermogravitymetrey experiments of Huating mine coalsample, the cures of weightlessness and weightlessness speed are analyzed, and criticaltemperature and the ignition temperature points of Huating coal are got found in each groupof curves,and analysis of its causes.Through the analysis of the simulationexperiment,analysis of the experiment shortest ignition period of Huating coal spontaneouscombustion and the limit parameter,the lower limit of oxygen concentration, the upper limitof air leakage intensity and minimum thickness of floating coal. It has the importancetheoretical significance to undersand the spontaneous combustion deeply.
