Liang Shuijing coal mine located at Shenmu Shaanxi province.The main seam of thiscoal mine is4-2which low depth,thin rock,thick sand and soil as shallow seam.In themining process of around mines,found when4-2mine full mechanized face strata pressappears,roof subside amount large,steps sinking obvious,hydraulic support workingresistance increase,mine pressure revealed intense,serious threaten the normal production ofmining face and personal security.This paper make Liang Shuijing coal mine42101full mechanized working face asresearch object.According to the geological conditions and coal seam characteristics,dependsground control theory,using theoretical calculation,similar material experiment andnumerical software simulation methods to study roof pressure regularity,obtains a lot ofdatas,as the best distance to compulsory caving;roof periodic press step distance;hydraulicsupport work resistance force.In order to test above datas,after42101working face normal produce,set mine pressureobservatory,to monitor the roof and supports.Though the measured found that:far from face20m,make compulsory caving,which can effectively avoid roof first caving;roof periodiccaving distance around19.5m,slow than mining speed;supports average resistance force is5744.51kN~6694.19kN,it is mainly meet the necessary of roof pressure control.Bycomparison,the measured data and the theoretical calculation results,similar materialsimulation and numerical simulation endings are largely same.This article through calculate and research to42101working face compulsory cavingdistance,periodic press step distance and supports parameters,combined measured resultsafter normal production,put forward the methods to avoid first roof press appears and roofcontrol,provide a good foundation to working face safety,and reliable experience to otherworking face safe produce of4-2coal seam.
