At present, in the aircraft complex parts assembly simulation, part models with nominaldimension no tolerance is interference checked, which leads to inadequate availability. According tothe problem, as well as associating with requirements from aviation enterprises, assembly information,accumulation of assembly error and interference checking with tolerance are deeply studied. The mainachievements of this paper are as follows:1. The representation model for assembly information based on constraint relation is constructed.In this method, as variational assembly feature geometric constraint, tolerance is merged intoassembly information to establish a composite assembly information model that possesses hierarchyand relationship. And the assembly information is more comprehensive and coherent.2. The representation model of accumulation information of assembly error based on assemblyinformation is proposed. According to assembly requirement, automatic look for and determineassembly dimension chain is automatic looked for and determined based on the model of assemblyinformantion. Meanwhile, the composing loop information is obtained. Moreover, key assemblyfeature geometric constraint is extracted from composing loops in process of accumulation ofassembly error to re-constructe combination of parts based on assembly sequence. The accumulationof assembly error is reflected by the combination and its own information. It is sure to prvideinformation for follow-up interference checking with tolerance.3. The method of interference checking with tolerance based on accumuleation of assembly erroris proposed. According to the model of accumulation information of assembly error, used ofworst-case and maximum error probability of composing loop tolerance, part model is separatedre-constructed and inserted into simulation system. Before dynamic interference checking,engineering semantic interference condition is set according to assembly requirements. At last, testresults of interferance checking are as a basis for reasonable of assembly process and tolerance.4. An interference checking with tolerance prototype system has been developed based onDELMIA.
