Research On Comprehensive Safety Evaluation Of City

In the wake of social and economic developments, the city’s comprehensive safety will become increasingly important aspect for urban development. It is imperative for the study of assessment index systems for the city’s comprehensive safety.Establishing the assessment index system is the main way to study the development of urban safety. There is little study about index system of urban comprehensive safety in China and most of them refer to certain aspect of it. According to the recent research result, environmental safety, fire safety, human safety, production safety, traffic safety, food safety, public security and natural disaster protection are chosen as the aspect in range of study in the thesis based on the massive documents and main issue that is paid great attention to all over the world. Further content of the preceding eight aspects are determined by learning from existing assessment system. By comparing present statistical index in and out of China, establish the assessment index system of urban comprehensive safety on related principle based on existing index system. Comprehensive assessment is analyzed by principal component analysis. According to huge number of stastical record collected from massive reference documents, 15 deputy provincial cities have been analyzed by the index system built in this thesis to prove that it is right and suitable. Finally, advantages and disadvantages in separate or comprehensive index of each city are clear to see and the level of each city comes out there. The results largely contribute to the further urban safety construction as a statistical reference document.
