The Design And Implementation Of The Terminal’s File Rights Control In Site Print On Demand Mechanism

POD (Print On Demand, referred to as POD) as a new printing, itsappearance has far-reaching and revolutionary impact for printing andpublishing industry. Printing On Demand develops more rapidly in foreigncountries, but our country has just started in this area. From the currentsituation,Print On Demand will be enormous challenges and opportunities forchina’s printing and publishing industry.To face such opportunities and challenges, how do we apply technology toadapt to this trend of development.This is the content of this paper.This paper bases on the existing Digital Rights Management technology,computing and communications technology, and it proposes the use of DigitalRights Management technology to build Print On Demand system.The systemis designed like this: it is based on digital rights management technology, useslicense to complete application of user rights and permissions ,and to protectthe security of documents, to complete the permit application and theoperating track by File Filter Driver technology.Based on this idea, the systemis divided into three main parts: the content server, the license server and theterminal . For the function to be divided for the terminal: one is part of thelicense,the second part is responsible for reading the encrypted files anddisplaying the packaged file; part of a monitoring receiver part; the last part ofthe print control section.The part of License uses JDOM technology to analyzelicense, and it uses file filtering technology to decrypt the file, the monitoringreceiver part also uses File Filter Driver to monitor their process.Using thefunctions of Printerjob class to complete the print control implementation.Withthe Digital Rights Management technology, the system can be a good use ofadministrative files and users, with File Filter Driver technology, furtherprotecting the security of documents, reducing the numerous terminaloperations, reducing the burden on the user’s actions. The research papers involve into the areas of the printing, Digital RightsManagement,computer technology,and Communications technology, thecontent of research has theoretical and practical signification in a certaindegree for printing and publishing industry of our country.
