The Research On Additive Manufacturing Equipment Of Fibre Reinforced Composites Based On FDM

The FDM technology of Fiber Reinforced Polymer has been advanced technology of 3D printing(FFP),which could effectively improve the strength and accuracy of 3D products,expand the application range of 3D products.Although FFP has above advantages,many questions remain to be answered.For instance,no specialized extruding machine produce FFP special wire;the enhancement of fiber powder is limited;the continuous fiber reinforced composites is uneasy to towing and cutting,unable to print complicated structure parts and hollow out parts and the drawing phenomenon is serious;low work efficiency.Accordingly,we researche the key equipment of FFP,on this basis,the paper focouse on FDM of short fiber reinforced complex material.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The miniature of a specialized extruding machine with low energy consumption used for short fiber reinforced composites FDM 3D print was developed.By the principle of extrution moulding combined with the specialized extrusion die of 3D print,then we developed the micro FFP specialized extruding machine.The machine can produce all kinds of types and specifications and contents both resin and fiber-reinforced composites which could used for FDM 3D print.(2)We developed a high efficiency of FDM 3D printer equipment with multiple heads.In order to improve efficiency,the production pattern with low cost and high efficiency of 3D printer was put forward.According to fused deposition molding,the multiple heads 3D printer was designed and compared with the single head one.The experimental results suggested that the multiple head 3D printer could heighten work efficiency and improved equipment utilization by three to five times and offer more quick printing compared with the single head one.(3)Taking Major Competition as opportunities combine with examples,this paper illustrates the application of FDM 3D printing technology of short fiber reinforced composite.We take the developed the fifth set of RMB coin sorting machine as cases.
