SO2 is the key national emission control pollutant in twelfith five-year-plan. It is still important way to push application of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) technologies and maintain their stable performance. SDA (rotary spray drying adsorption) and CFB-FGD (Circular Fluid Bed-flue gas desulfurization) are two representative Semi dry desulfurization which are applied widely. The application of Niro-SDA from Denmark and CFB-FGD in heat supply factory A and heat supply factory B were studied respectively. The operation parameters are introduced and performance was compared based on online monitoring data. Results indicated that SDA performance is not very stable. Though dust emission is stably lower than 50 mg/m3, SO2 and NOx emission concentration fluctuate greatly and the non-attainment of SO2 and NOx hourly concentration were around 8% and 2%, respectively. While CFB performance good with dust lower than 20 mg/m3,SO2 and NOx can meet the emission standard except that SO2 exceeded standard several times in the start-up of CFB.In order to evaluate the effectiveness of two technologies, the evaluation index system was built including four criteria such as impact on ambient air, complexity of technology, cost and adaptivity to heat supplier. AHP method was used to calculate weight of indicators. The degrees of membership for SDA and CFB were calculated resulting in that CFB is better than SDA.
