FGD (flue gas desulfurization) is an important measure to control SO2 pollution of coal-fired power plants, and and FGD technologies progress greatly with the increasing importance of environmental issues. At present, hundreds of FGD technologies have been developed at home and abroad. FGD is a multi-factor and multi-purpose complex program involving technology, economy, resources, environment, and specific evaluation indexes include both quantitative and qualitative index. So how to deal with these quantitative and qualitative indexes effectively, evaluate and prefer advanced, economic and practical FGD technology according to the actual plants has become an urgent problem for the coal-fired power plant to control SO2 emission.In view of the characteristics of FGD technique evaluation, the application of multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method in FGD is researched in this paper. The evaluation process includes the follows: founding integrative fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, choosing the group of factors of comprehensive evaluation of FGD technologies, setting up the group of evaluating factor's weight by the mothed of judge- matrix-analysis, setting up the group of the quantitative factor's subordinate function, setting up the group of qualitative factor's fuzzy evaluation, operating fuzzy matrix. Seven kinds of typical FGD technologies were evaluated by the method, that is wet limestone echnology, simplified wet technology, rotary pray drying absorption technology, limestone injection into the furnace and activation of calcium oxide (LIFAC), electron beam irradiation (EBM) technology, seawater FGD and circulating fluidized bed (CFB) technology. The result is:(0.14,0.15,0.13,0.14,0.11,0.16,0.17) . According to the rule of maximum incident degree, the prior order of these seven kinds of technologies is CFB, seawater FGD, simplified wet technology, wet limestone echnology, LIFAC, rotary pray drying absorption technology, EBM. A practical application example reveals that the result of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation conforms to the actual situation, which shows that the method is reasonableness and practicability in comprehensive evaluation of FGD technologies.The study on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of FGD technologies for coal-fired power plants provides a reasonable technical support for suitable selection FGD...
