In recent years, the safety situation of electricity enterprise has been greatly improved with the development China’s economy and society. Because of the electricity enterprise as the basis of the country’s energy, we still have a lot of space to study how to improve the electricity enterprise safety production and achieve intrinsic Safety. Therefore, we should establish a systematic, reasonable and accurate system based on the electricity enterprise intrinsic safety which is particularly important. This paper summarized the previous studies and references other industry such as the coal and chemical intrinsic safety construction, leading to an intrinsic safety model of electricity enterprise. By using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for a power company for intrinsic safety evaluation, according to the evaluation score and the actual situation we give the recommendations which have good results.Firstly, we use the results of theoretical studies of the intrinsic safety to analyze the concept and meaning of the intrinsic safety and evaluation Methods and Research on intrinsic safety.Secondly, through analysis the characteristics of the power enterprises man-machine-environment-management system and mistakes Cause, we construct the intrinsic safety model of electricity enterprise and based on this model system constructing evaluation indexes. Construct the power enterprise intrinsic safety evaluation indexes system which consists of four primary indexes,13secondary indexes and40third level indexes.Thirdly, we use the analytic hierarchy process and the different experts rate at all levels of the importance of the indicators. And calculate the weights of the indicators. We also use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to build the evaluation model.Finally, we choose a power supply companies as the evaluation of the object. By using the method of literature, field research and mathematical statistics method, we evaluate power enterprise intrinsic safety level. The evaluation result is four-star intrinsic safety. The result is consistent with the enterprise actual intrinsic safety conditions.
