In this paper, the dynamic design research of the printing press was carried out from the perspective of engineering vibration test, in the operating condition.establishing the dynamic model of printing roller and the paper delivery system, it got the dynamic natural characteristic of the printing cylinder and the quantitative mathematical relationship module between the support gap change on printing quality,also,a printing machine vibration test module has been developed.The results of researching could provide reference data for structural dynamic design and fault diagnosis of printing press. The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1) Based on the subspace iteration method for solving the printing cylinder modal has been analysised. Combining the modal theory, modal test and finite element analysis software ANSYS to complet the printing cylinder modal analysis.which has got the inherent dynamic characteristics of printing cylinder, determine the weak links of the system structure.which provided the method and basis for the the modal test and dynamic performance modification, sensitivity analysis and response analysis.(2) Establishing a printing roller dynamic model with bearing clearance kinetics. Based on the natural modal parameters of printing cylinder through modal experiment to research the relationship between bearing clearance and the dynamic response, which obtained the dynamic response characteristics of the roller with bearing clearance.(3)Based on harmonic balance principle,then arrive at the mathematical relationship module between the printing roller bearing clearance and the halftone dot change, this model can be used to quantitative evaluation the influence of the roller bearing clearance and print quality.(4)Based on the testing technology.the dynamic design of the the paper-transferring system has been researched.Through the test method of experiment, the dynamic response curve of the paper-transferring teeth and wallboard have been obtained. According to the result of experiment, it is inferred that the excessive vibration of wallboard is one of the main reason to the excessive of paper-transferring teeth handover about error,also,the structure of the wallboard has been mended, from time and frequency domain compared with the wallboard before designing, which verified the correctness of the inference. This method can be applied to the printer of other structures dynamic design.(5)Using the communication of Matlab and C language software, preliminary designed the vibration test module of the printing machinery. The module is designed for vibration test and fault diagnosis of the printing machinery.also provides the design method and thought for the printing machinery on-line monitoring.
