With the progress of social technology and the enhancement of the awareness of environment protection, more and more attention was put on the security of surfactant products. The study on green surfactant which has low skin irritation and high degradability synthesized with natural products has extremely important practical applications.3-pentadecylphenol is an important intermediate with important development and application value which is obtained from cashew nut shell liquid. In this paper, the optimization of the technology and the synthesis of Cardanol Polyglucoside amide based on3-pentadecylphenol was studied, then the surface activity of the product is also studied.Nonionic surfactant Cardanol Polyglucoside amide was synthesized with3-pentadecylphenol through three steps. The structure of the product was analyzed and characterized by IR,’H-NMR,13C-NMR.The effects of some conditions, such as the sorts of solvent, and material ratio, and reaction temperature, and the reaction time of the product were studied. The results show that the better reaction conditions are as follows. The reaction conditions of step one are as follows: actonel00mL,n(Cardanol):n(Epichlorohydrin)=1:6, reaction temperature57℃,reaction time48h; The reaction conditions of step two are as follows:ethanol60mL,n(amine):n(lactones)=1:1.1,reaction temperature35℃,reaction time4h; The reaction conditions of step three are as follows:DMSO100mL,n(CEI):n(D-Gluconamide,N,N’-(iminodi-2,1-ethanediyl)bis-)=1:1.5,reaction temperature80℃,reaction time10h. Under this reaction condition, the yield of the products is49.6%.Densities and viscosities of the Cardanol Polyglucoside amide at288.15-323.15K were measured with Ubbelohde-type capillary viscometer and calibrated pycnometer. VTF equation was used to correlate the experimental data, comparison was also done with the calculated data, the results show that the total average relative deviation is0.89%.A set of drop volume apparatus was applied to measure The surface tension of the product, The Physical property and HLB were determined.the surface activity of the product includes forming property, soluble property and dermal Irritation property,and these property and dermal Irritation property,and these The product shows excellent forming property were measured. the results show The product has excellent forming property and soluble property,and it is environmentally-sound.
