The automobile panel stamping forming simulation technology is relating to the automobile panel stamping process, the finite element theory, metal plastic forming theory, the modern computer simulation technology and related theory knowledge comprehensive research projects. The computer simulation technology can forecast the possible defects in forming process, and can realize the optimization of the parameters in the forming process.In order to achieve guiding the mold design, reduce automobile manufacturing cycle and costs, enhance the competitiveness of enterprise purpose.This paper introduced finite element theory of the sheet metal stamping and dynamic explicit finite element control equation, the solving algorithm, unit theory, material model, yield criterion, contact and friction problem and so on. it introduces the automobile panel stamping technology very briefly, this paper discusses the automobile drawing die design process and key points of design, it analyzes the forming of common defects and countermeasures.According to the CAD model of a microbus establish its drawing finite element model, including finite element model of the punch, die, binder and blank, the process parameters and control parameter setting calculation method are studied. According to the simulation results at the first time, the blank shape is redesigned, in order to achieve matching the blank shape with stamping process of material flow, the simulation results show the rounded transition of blank and set up reasonable process incision are beneficial to the improvement of the quality of drawing; The geometrical parameters of draw beads effect on resistance of drawing is studied, a reasonable draw beads distribution is given and obtains satisfactory simulation results, on the basis of drawing analysis, take advantage of the DYNAFORM software, the process parameters such as mold gap, pressing speed, binder force and friction coefficient are researched by the orthogonal experimental design method, these drawing process parameters influence on the forming quality and computation efficiency are quantitatively analysed, in terms of body-side sheet of microbus, if the other parameters design is not reasonable, merely adjust a factor is difficult to get a good result. Stamping speed have the biggest influence on simulation computation efficiency, but stamping speed cannot set too large, otherwise it will cause the increase of dynamic effect, cause the distortion of the simulation results, the springback theory, the springback factors and the methods to control the springback are discussed in the paper, the springback displacement of the body-side sheet is predicted.
