In this paper, we research the environmental quality of tributaries of the south bank of the Huaihe River (Anhui), nutrients and heavy metals in the main line, to study the characteristics of the overlying water and surface sediment distribution of pollutants, concentration levels, the environmental quality of the tributaries of the quantitative and qualitativedescription, and consider their ecological and environmental effects. Use2010Huaihe (Anhui segment) SOUTH various tributaries settings160sampling points collected sample analysis of the data obtained, first of all on the overlying water, indoor chemical test of the results, through the comprehensive water quality identifies the index method of the survey district of the overlying water environmentquality was evaluated by Hakanson potential ecological risk index of heavy metal pollution levels in surface sediments of the survey area were evaluated based on the results of chemical tests of the surface sediments of the indoor. Finally, principal component analysis method and gray relational menthod of ecosystem health for Evaluating the various tributaries.The evaluation results show that:the better the overall state of the Anhui section of the Huaihe River south bank of eight watershed and water quality is not up to the37sampling points, accounting for23%of the total number of all160sampling points, the overall water quality compliance rate of77%to meet the basic water quality the requirements of the management objectives. Among them, the city of West Lake Basin, the lowest water quality standards,30%did not meet the overall water quality. Selected TN, TP, NH3-N and COD four indexes of TN exceeded the degree of the most serious, followed by at COD. The main reason for the sampling point pollution caused by agricultural nonpoint source pollution and the production of domestic wastewater TN content and high COD content; heavy metal contamination of a single metal element of the potential ecological risk factor as follows:Cd> Pb> Cu> As> Zn> hg. In addition to the City East Lake Basin on the14th sampling point, Cd moderately pollute, the rest of the sampling points of the heavy metal potential ecological risk assessment results are a slight degree of ecological pollution. Heavy metal pollution in the tributaries of the Anhui section of the South Bank in the Huaihe River Basin sediment was not significant. The rivers of human activities are not yet on the structure of the sediment from the impact. Thoughout the study area to achieve a "Healthy","Sub" and "General" level of sampling sites accounted for93.5%of the tributaries of the Anhui section of the South Bank in the Huaihe River Basin ecosystem in good health. Through the above analysis, the Huaihe River water quality of the environment should arouse people’s attention, protection and governance tasks of the Huaihe River water quality of the environment a long way to go.
