The rapid development of the internet and computer graphics and image processing and other scienceand technologies brought new vitality and opportunities for apparel presentation on the internet. While,there is still insufficient corresponding application study of apparel display on internet based on designand art, which is the main purpose of this thesis.Based on the summarizations of concepts and types of clothing online display, the influencefactors of garment image display effects on internet were introduced, including authentic costumes andword expression factors, color, composition, photography and image processing techniques factors. Theimportant theory knowledge of the art design was digested, and undertook thorough analysis fromdifferent angles of clothing network display.Several design methods of apparel presentation on internet were discussed, mainly includingfashion illustration, animation or cartoon elements of clothing network display, fixed content of clothingphoto network display, clothing mapping network display, apparel presentation on internet based onobject panorama, virtual3D modeling clothing network display, online fashion show. The paperemphasizes the important of clothing mapping network display in the personalization design. Thecontradictions between scale production of appeals and personalization designs would be solvedthrough the effective interaction of consumers and designers. And secondary designing at stock clothingwill be available for improving sales and reducing overstock. Haute-couture is combined with virtualgarment and virtual Human in order to improve application of virtual3D modeling clothing networkdisplay.On the basis of above studies, the female students from three universities in Hangzhou city werechosen as investigation object to further improve the research content by using excel analysis. Theeffects of clothing network display on consumers’ aesthetic, cognitive and purchase intentions werestudied and the practical use of2D and3D virtual fitting systems on apparel presentation wereinvestigate.
