| More and more people have concerned about the characteristics ofsuperhydrophobicity of leaves of Lotus and rice, and research papers onsuperhydrophobic surface is increasing year after year in the domestic and foreignjournals and periodicals on surface science. Not only superhydrophobicity deserveshigh value in academic researches, but also it could be applied to industry and ourdaily life.We reported a new way to fabricate superhydrophobic film with the method ofsol-gel. KH550(γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) and PMHS(Polymethylhydrosiloxane),reacted with dibutyltin dilaurate as catalyst to produce crosslinked polymethylsiloxane. Moreover, the crossed polymethylsiloxane underwent hydrolysis reaction to producesuperhydrophobic sol-gel. After spraying the sol-gel to glass slide, we gotsuperhydrophobic film on the glass slide. From researches on optimization ofcomponents and variables, we got that the mass ratio of KH550/PMHS couldinfluence the contact angle and sliding angle of the film. When the mass ratio reached25%, the contact angle of the film is157°, the sliding angle less than1°, so the filmis superhydrophobic under this condition. The process of the formation of thesuperhydrophobic sol-gel and the mechanism of the superhydrophobicity of the filmare discussed at length in this dissertation. We applied FTIR spectrometer tocharacterize the crosslinked polymethylsiloxane, polarization microscope tocharacterize the particle of the sol-gel, SEM to characterize the morphology of film toprovide proof to the mechanism. We dissolved epoxy resin in ethyl acetate, mix it with the sol-gel, and the film ismade from spraying the mixture to the aluminium substrate. How different incrementof epoxy resin to the same mass of sol-gel influences the contact angle and slidingangle of the film is analyzed. As a result, with the increasing of the mass of the epoxyresin in the mixture, the contact angles of the films are decreasing, and the sliding angles of the films are increasing, so the superhydrophobicity of the film is losing.Films cured by different types of curing agent have different contact angles andsliding angles. With the increasing of the mass of the epoxy resin, the thickness andadhesive class of the film is increasing, while the self-cleaning and anti-ice property islosing. With the increasing of the mass of the epoxy resin, the anti-brushing propertyof the film displays the trend, first increasing then decreasing. What’s more, filmscured by different curing agent show different anti-brushing properties, films cured bythe long chain curing agent has better anti-brushing property than films cured by littlemolecule curing agent. |
