Underground mill is a very important mechanical equipment in the production of strip. As thewinding equipment of strip, the work performance of underground mill affects the quality of theproducts and production efficiency of the whole work units directly. In order to guarantee theperformance of winding control is fine let the winding process has reasonable torque andcomplete production requirements better, the performance of tension control system should beimproved and forecast of transmission torque should be done to provide reliable scientific basisfor practical production.According to wisco project as the background, this subject has whole analysis of undergroundmill. What’s more, simulink and BP neural network system has being used to forecast the biggesttorque of strip coiling. Specificly include:1) The main composition of Underground mill in the production site has being carefullyanalysised. Related equipment and its effect in the winding area has being introduced. Andthe process of winding has being analysised(including there stages: prepare, normal,ending).2) Detailed analysis has being given to the torque of the underground mill, and according tothe relationship between each torque and coil diameter, dynamics equation has beingestablished. What’s more, similink software has being applied to establish models andsimulation. Simulate the winding torque from the theoretical level, and part of the torquevariation figure of winding process has being given.3) On the basis of theory analysis, according to test steel, torque testing has being done. Toanalyze the actual test data, and with the actual test data as the basis, according to BPneural network Establish two models. And according to algorithm to know typical variablesamples of the object. What’s more, the feedback on fallen value. After the complement ofthe model training process, error range and the reason of the error should be analysised toguarantee the feasibility of the model. Two models has being used respectively accordingto target model to test, and the biggest predicted value of the torque has being given.4) Summary the forecast of the torque analysis, and point out problems that should be paidattention to and improving directions in the process of analysis.
